Although the trail is already a very popular area for birding, fishing, and hiking, the Blueberry Hill and Zoo Trail to Owen’s Lake is also a great route to take when horseback riding.
The Blueberry Hill and Zoo Trail to Owen’s Lake goes from one end of the park to the other, starting off at Ashburn Road and then returning via a different route. Riders and hikers will encounter uphill climbing going to the route, but coming back, it will all be downhill climbing from there. The Northside Trail is a 17.4 kilometer point to point trail near Fredericton. It is an easy trail that takes an average of 3 hours and 28 minutes to complete, which makes it a popular trail for cross-country skiing, hiking, and most especially horseback riding.
The Northside Trail is a flat, well-maintained trail that follows along Highway 105 and the river. The trail is best explored by hikers and riders of all skill levels and can be extended by taking Keswick Trail at the end point. The best time to ride through the Northside Trail is during December through October. Pets are welcome but must be on a leash.

From the parkway, the Bradshaw Lookout Trail goes downhill all the way, which means going back means you’ll be going uphill. It is called the lookout because you will be able to see the falls from it, as you overcome the fallen trees along the way. The best times to visit are April through October.
